To give you something to do in the hours before the 5th Edition Rules for Warhammer 40K are released, Meta-Games in conjunction with Games Workshop will be hosting a Midnight Madness Mega-Battle. Each player who is interested in participating will need to bring 1000 points of the army of his liking, and at 9:30 we will announce sides and let people begin setting up and let each team nominate a captain.
At 10:00 sharp the battle will commence. Each team will have its players simotaneously moving, then shooting, then assaulting so that it will run as smoothly as possible. At midnight we will pause the game momentarily to let all the players buy their books, and when play resumes, we will begin using the 5th edition rules for the rest of the Mega-Battle! Prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
We will also be having painting contest, with prizes awarded for best single model, best vehicle, best troop, and youngblood. Entry for this will also be free and judging/prizes will occur around 12:30 - 1:00 am!
